Anthony was deeply involved in the development of the widely used testing methodology, ISO/IEC 9646 and was leader of the ETSI Specialist Task Force that developed the first edition of the globally standardised testing language, TTCN-3. He is author/co-author of many refereed journals and conference papers and has organized and chaired several international conferences, including TESTCOM and a series of International TTCN-3 User Conferences.
The current work of ETSI CTI includes the development of conformance and/or interoperability test specifications for many technologies including UMTS/LTE, IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Intelligent Transport Systems, Electronic Signature and ePassport, WiMAX, SmartCards, Air Traffic Control and IPv6. The centre also organises regular interoperability events or PlugtestsTM (over 150 to date) for the validation and testing of ICT standards.
