OVERVIEW This presentation will explain the recent contribution of the Cloud Security Alliance to the European Cloud Computing Strategy consultation with regards to trust, security and assurance.

The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) proposed, through the paper: ’Contribution to the European Commission Strategy on Cloud Computing’, short and medium term actions that support a secure adoption of cloud computing across the EU. The actions we proposed refer to the particular areas of:
  • Interoperability and portability
  • Trust, security and assurance
  • Security innovation in the cloud
