Pasquale Pagano examines the DRIVER and D4Science projects. DRIVER is a multi-phase effort whose vision and primary objective is to create a cohesive, robust and flexible, pan-European infrastructure for digital repositories, offering sophisticated services and functionalities for researchers, administrators and the general public. The D4Science project aims to establish networking, grid-based, and data-centric e-Infrastructures that accelerate multidisciplinary research with emphasis on natural resource science, by overcoming barriers related to heterogeneity, sustainability and scalability.
